Over the period of time the term ‘cloud’ has become a synonym for the internet. People can access the internet through the facilities provided by the cloud hosting companies that have actual servers that make up the entire network and allow connectivity.

The services provided by the cloud hosts include software, infrastructure and platform and it is offered as a complete package. These services might be offered in various forms like public networks or private networks. Moreover, they might also be offered as a hybrid network. The concept of cloud hosting revolves around the idea of sharing resources.

Cloud architecture includes a number of components that form a network and then communicate with each other via the established network. It includes the delivery system through which the data is communicated and delivered over the network. It also includes the storage centers where the data from various servers is stored and can be accessed by the clients. The cloud hosting in terms of data storage can be deployed as a public, private or a hybrid network.

Public Deployment

In public deployment of the cloud a large number of resources are used up and it is shared by all the users. Due to the fact that the resources are used in a large amount and that they are shared by a number of people makes the arrangement highly cost effective.

Private Deployment

Private deployment is similar to public deployment in terms of its operations. However, the resources are used by a single organization within the organizational boundaries.

Hybrid Deployment

As the name indicates, it is a hybrid of public and private deployment and it operates by combining the type of services provided by the above mentioned cloud hosting services.

The type of deployment service chosen by an organization depends upon the type of the organization and the location.
